Summary
Outrunner GPS does not collect, transmit or share any personal data. The game has no account system, no analytics, no advertising, no third-party software development kits and makes no network requests of its own. Everything you do in the game stays on your device.
This policy explains what the game stores locally, which device permissions it may ask for, and how you can remove everything.
Who we are
Outrunner GPS is an offline single-player arcade game for iPhone and iPad. This policy covers the game app and the pages published at outrunnergps.space. Contact: [email protected].
Data we collect
None. We operate no servers for the game, no accounts and no user profiles. The App Store privacy label for Outrunner GPS is Data Not Collected. We cannot see your progress, your photos, your settings or how you play.
Data stored on your device
The game keeps everything it needs inside its own private app sandbox on your device:
| Data | Purpose | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Game progress (coins, tokens, districts, stars, gear, trophies, quests, calls, streaks) | Saving your game between sessions | App sandbox, JSON files |
| Run log (distance, pace, pins, crashes, dates, notes) | History and statistics screens | App sandbox, JSON files |
| Runner card (name, tagline, home district) | Personalising the lobby and profile | App sandbox, JSON files |
| Portrait and run snapshots | Shown on your runner card and in your run log | App sandbox, resized JPEG files |
| Preferences (music, sound effects, haptics) | Remembering your settings | App sandbox, JSON files and UserDefaults |
None of this leaves your device. It is included in your personal iCloud or iTunes device backups according to your own iOS backup settings, which are managed by Apple under Apple's privacy policy, not by us.
Camera and photo library
The game asks for camera access only at the moment you tap to take a runner portrait or a finish-line snapshot, and for photo library access only when you choose to pick an existing image. Selected images are resized and stored inside the app sandbox. The app never reads your library in the background, never scans it, and never uploads images anywhere. You can decline both permissions and still play every part of the game.
Location
Despite the name, Outrunner GPS never requests, uses or stores your location. "GPS" refers to the stylised in-game route line. The app contains no location APIs.
Tracking, advertising and third parties
- The app does not track you across apps or websites and does not ask for App Tracking Transparency permission.
- The app does not read or use the advertising identifier (IDFA).
- The app contains no analytics, attribution, crash-reporting or advertising SDKs.
- The app shows no ads and offers no in-app purchases or real-money transactions.
- We do not sell, rent or share data with anyone, because we hold none.
The bundled privacy manifest declares no tracking and no collected data types, and lists only required-reason APIs used for local storage (UserDefaults, category CA92.1) and file timestamps (category C617.1).
The support page on this site
If you write to us through the form on our support page, the email address, the reason you select and the message text you type are sent to us so that we can answer you. We use them only to reply and to fix the problem you reported, we do not add you to any mailing list, and we delete the correspondence once the request is resolved. Writing to [email protected] directly has the same effect. Sending a message is entirely voluntary and is not required to play the game.
Children
The game does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children. There are no purchases, no chat, no user-to-user features and no third-party content inside the game. The only external links are to this policy and to our support page.
Your choices and deleting your data
- Delete a single run or snapshot from its detail page in the run log.
- Wipe everything with "Reset all progress" in Settings.
- Revoke camera or photo access at any time in iOS Settings › Outrunner GPS.
- Delete the app to remove all game data from your device permanently.
Because we store nothing on our side, there is no remote copy of your data for us to delete. If you have emailed us, you can ask us to erase that correspondence at any time.
Security
Game data is held in the app's private sandbox, protected by iOS app isolation and by your device passcode and encryption. As the app performs no network transfers of your data, there is no transmission of it to secure.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this address with a new effective date. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes. Questions or requests: [email protected].
